My roommate is leaving me in early-mid august (exact date of moving out needs to be determined) so I have one room available in my shared flat, 2min walk from Eigerplatz, Bern (Zieglerstrasse). This is a 2-bedroom apartment + kitchen, bathroom and living-room with a balcony (see photos). Located at Eigerplatz, it is only 2min walk from a coop or a migros or Da Nino pizzeria (really good pizzas by the way). From Eigerplatz, there are trams and buses going to Bern bahnhof and city center in 5-7min.

Rent is 840 CHF plus utilities.

As for your roommate, you will be living with a French guy (me), 29 years old, researcher in biology at University of Bern. I moved here 2 years ago for work and I speak French and English but NO German. I like skiing in the winter and chilling by the river in summer. I also like to do sports, play boardgames or videogames, watch tv-shows and movies or simply have an apero on the balcony. I am easy to live with, pet-friendly and always down for small talks. However, you will have to deal with the fact that I like crappy jokes :)

I am looking for a roommate preferably close to my age who can speak at least English or French (NO GERMAN-ONLY SPEAKING PLEASE, as I don't speak german. If you don't speak at least english, communication might be difficult then). As for the rest, you can message me to tell me who you are, what you like and what you are looking for in a roommate.
