I’m leaving my cozy beautiful room in a spacious and elegant 4-room apartment in a charming Altbau building with only four parties in the entire house. The apartment has been renovated but still keeps all its historic character: beautiful wooden floors (with a gentle squeak), elegant wall details, and a warm, homely feel. The apartment has a dining room, living room, a little side room for jackets and shoes, two toilets, one bathroom, a spacious kitchen, and two bedrooms.

I really love(d) the green, quiet, yet central location. It's close to the university hospital, just 4 minutes’ walk to Hottingerplatz with its cafés and little shops, 8 minutes’ walk to the Kunsthaus and the theatre, and around 20 minutes on foot to the lake at Bellevue. You can also reach the city centre in 15–20 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by tram, and the endless Dolder forest is right nearby for a quick escape into nature. The flat even comes with a sun-kissed balcony and a shared garden for all residents in the building.

You’ll be sharing the apartment with Leonardo, a lovely 26-year-old Italian who speaks perfect English (and about five words of Swiss German), works in banking, and enjoys a calm routine during the week and mountain trips and some partying with friends on weekends.

You’ll fit right in if you’re kind, tidy, and considerate and probably somewhere in your 20s or early 30s.

The room can come with a bed (with four spacious drawers for extra storage) and a white, tall closet that fits perfectly into a small indent in the wall, making the most of the space. We can discuss these items if you’d like to take them over! There’s also a small built-in wardrobe in the room.
