We are Janis (27, Swiss, just finished his Master’s in Interdisciplinary Sciences at ETH) and Andrii (25, Ukrainian, finishing his Master’s in Political Science at UZH this summer) and we’re looking for a new roommate to join our shared apartment in Zürich-Affoltern.

We enjoy keeping the flat clean, going out together, doing lots of sports such as running, going to the gym or swimming, watching movies, and occasionally having a few beers or small parties with friends — our neighbors are very relaxed and never complain. We’re hoping to find someone who likes spending time together in a WG but also respects personal space and has a good daily routine.

The apartment is large, close to nature, and located about 20 minutes from Hönggerberg and only three minutes from the Waidhof bus stop. It has two bathrooms (you would share one with Janis), a balcony, and plenty of common space.

The available room is 12.8 square meters and comes furnished with a wardrobe, bed and mattress, a desk, and a basic chair. The contract is unlimited, and being willing to take over Janis’ position in the main contract once he moves out this summer is a big advantage in the application, as it helps keep the flat a shared student apartment. This would give you a lot of freedom and responsibility in the WG, and all details can be discussed once you move in.
