The room:

We are looking for someone for a room in our 3 people international flatshare for one year (September to September). The flat has a large dining/living room, balcony, bathroom and kitchen. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential and the flat has also recently been refurbished. Both the forest of Zürichberg and Irchel park are nearby and perfect for an evening run. A large Migros and the tram stop are only a 6 minute walk away.

Your room is 11.6 m2. It has a large window with a wonderful view over Zurich, facing west, and amazing lighting in the evening sun. The room is already furnished. The rent includes utilities like heating and water but not additional costs like electricity, insurance, internet, etc. We have a cleaning service that comes once a week for about 110CHF per month. The room is available from beginning of September or a bit later if necessary.


You:

A young professional or PhD student, roughly our age, who enjoys participating in the WG life like having dinner or drinks together every now and then, watching a movie or playing some games.

It is important to us that our WG is not simply cohabitation. We typically have busy days but find time to hang out a couple of times per week. While we enjoy the WG life we also value our time alone and are looking for someone similar. We like to keep the apartment tidy and clean and expect you to contribute to that as well.


Us:

Florent, 28 (french) works at Google as a software engineer. He built us a musical toilet seat and is currently on the quest for the best croissant in Zürich (any tips are very welcome!). He is always up for introducing you to new music and will play something on his DIY hurdy gurdy.

Luca, 29 (italian) is a postdoc at ETH in Electrical Engineering. He is an excellent chef, and prepares the best pasta dishes in town. He likes football and hiking and enjoys having a beer after work.
