Description

One room available from the beginning of November in our beautiful, cozy and luminous 4-people shared apartment! We're reposting our ad actually :)
We'd like to find someone who's planning on staying for at least one year in Bern or long-term (actually it's the landlord who wants that).

The room is around 10,5m2 (rent: 700 CHF/month).

The room is unfurnished. All the charges and the electricity fee are included in the rent except for wifi.

The commons:
\- a fireplace
\- an amazing balcony with view of the snowy alps in winter and providing enough shade in summer
\- a smaller balcony
\- 2 spacious and charming bathrooms
\- a fully equipped kitchen with a big dishwasher

In the basement we have:
\- plenty of storage space
\- a washing machine and a tumbler that are free of charge
\- a place to hang your bike

We are looking for
someone that is in their twenties preferably, non-smokers and comfortable with speaking English. International, Swiss-German-speaking and LGBTQIA+ people welcome! :)

We care about building a strong sense of belonging to the flat. We accomplish the household chores in an effective and proactive way, so that it feels like a cozy home. Though everyone here engages in a full-time occupation, while also taking part in activities outside of their studies or work, we enjoy each other’s company very much!

If you are interested in joining our lively WG, write to tell us a little about you, in either German or English, and we can organise a visit!

More about us

Pui Pui (25) is a PhD student in biology at the University of Bern. She comes from Hong Kong, enjoys going to unisports and playing boardgames with friends in her free time.

Marc (23), the newest addition to the flat, is in Bern for a one-year internship as a French translator, after which he'll return to his homeland (Geneva) to complete his master's. He is vibrantly himself, relatable, and finds sports to be profoundly healing.

(You'll find our ad on wgzimmer as well. And it's normal if you've seen a similar add one or two month ago! It's the one Marc saw when he was flathunting, actually.)
