The room is about 11 m², furnished with a mattress (no bed as in the picture) and a wardrobe. The flat has a sunny balcony, open kitchen, big living room, and a private washing machine and dryer. The price includes all bills, such as heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and a cleaner twice a month. The location is very central - across the street from many grocery stores/restaurants/bars, 10 min walk from HB, and walking distance from trams 2, 3, 8, 9, 14 and buses 31, 32.
You should be somewhere between your mid-twenties and mid-forties, lead an active life and have a steady income. While it is fine to have visitors, this is not a place to party.
We are Lukas (Swiss, 40, working in education) and Kevin (US-American, 26, working in science). We are often on the move but still enjoy conversations when we are home at the same time.
The fine print: Many cool places are nearby, but be aware that the area is Zurichs main nightlife and red-light district. It can be noisy, but the windows are good and it always feels safe to us. You need to leave a deposit of CHF 1 000 and present proof of swiss private liability insurance (less than 100 CHF / Year) at key handover.
