We (Ale - 29; Ilias - 34; Gian-Luca - 28) are searching for someone to subrent a room in our beautiful home for 4 months! We are looking for a young professional around our age who has lived in a shared flat before. The flat is located in the heart of the industrial district (Kreis 5) of Zurich.  
 
Ilias is travelling between 20.12.24 and 29.01.25 and Ale is travelling between 03.02.25 and 20.04.25. So from end of December 24 until end of April 25 we are subrenting our fully furnished guest room. If the dates don't match perfectly, we are open to find an agreement to adjust the move-in and move-out dates.
 
The room is 16m2 and located on the lower floor of a duplex 5.5 room apartment that measures 180m2 in total. We have 2 full bathrooms and 1 guest bathroom with laundry machine and tumbler.  
The upper floor is a large area with an open kitchen & bar, living & dining area and a 12m2 balcony. 
The building has an approx. 500m2 roof terrace that is shared amongst the residents. The flat also has a small cellar in the basement of the building. Additionally, we can access the commonly shared yard from our lower floor.  
Parking slots in the garage can be booked for an additional charge.  
 
The rent of the room is 1181.- (we all pay the same rent) which includes an akonto payment for heating and water bills. We pay Internet separately in an annual bill of 777.- (21.5 CHF /person/month). We have a bi-weekly cleaning service for about 60.-/month/person. 

Whenever either of us leaves the flat, we like to leave our room door open. It makes it easier knowing who’s at home and who’s not. We like our open door policy and when we close our doors it usually means “do not disturb”. Occasionally, we have our partners and/or friends over, cook, party together or watch a Netflix movie on our huge beamer :)  
 
We are all tech-savvy, so we like to communicate over our WhatsApp group, share our bills over SplitWise and use a common calendar to inform each other when we have visitors or when we’re on holidays.
