The contract can be extended by talking to the landlord. The rent of the month of March is already paid so you do not have to pay for the month, even if you move in immediately :)

It is located right next to Wiesenplatz tram station, and the nearest supermarket (Coop and Migros Partner) is just a minute away from the apartment. The apartment is located close to Stücki Park as well. It is 15 minutes from the main building of the University of Basel by public transit.

You will be sharing the kitchen with all tenants and the washroom with 1 person. The apartment also has a washing machine and a dishwasher. The room is located at the top floor of the apartment, and is very spacious. The room is furnished with shelves for storage, wadrobe and a study/work desk. The room also has a small personal refrigerator to store your groceries. The washroom is right next to the room and the attic floor has two other rooms right in front, of which, only one is occupied so you will be sharing the washroom with a single person.
