The room is a rather large room with a walk-in closet, a small metal shelf, and a desk with a chair. There is also the possibility to get a bed provided by WOKO. The room is in a shared flat with a total of seven tenants. We share two bathrooms, a balcony, a cosy living room and a quite big kitchen. You can find more details about the house on the WOKO website. There is a bike room on the ground floor and we have shared washing machines. The ETH Hönggerberg campus is very close, also Irchel and the center are well within reach.
There is a Coop less than 100 m away. We also have two bus stops very close by for lines 32, 37, 61. There is a Migros, Lidl and the Affoltern train station within walking distance. It is 15 minutes by bike or bus to the ETH Hönggerberg campus.
We are looking for a subtenant for May and June to join our flat. Of course, we can also discuss renting the room for only a part of May and June. However, there is no possibility to extend beyond June. You need to fulfil the WOKO criteria, i.e. you need to be younger than 28 and be inscribed in any university in Zurich. We prefer if you can imagine some participation in flat life. Of course, you are also expected to do your part in keeping the flat clean as we all do ;).
We are a flat of seven people studying all kinds of subjects, mainly at ETH, UZH and ZHdK. Some of us speak German and/or French but most of the time we communicate in English. Now and then we enjoy cooking together or doing some leisure activities. More often we end up in the kitchen talking for hours or playing games. But of course, if you need some time for yourself, you can always choose to hang out in your room.
