Hi! We are Vincent, Ellen, and Leonardo and we are looking for a 4th person to join our spacious WG in Zürich Affoltern. Our apartment is very bright and modern with a pretty view. We have a large kitchen (with dishwasher) where we often chat and a lot of shared space (also with projector to watch movies!).

We have two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub) plus an extra separate toilet. We also have our own laundry machine and dryer so no need to plan your laundry into a schedule :).

A bit about us:

Ellen is a PhD student in biology, loves any outdoor sport (especially climbing, cycling, and skiing). Often busy on the weekends but enjoys chatting or playing a board game in the evenings.

Vincent is a PhD student in atmospheric sciences, enjoys biking, climbing and hiking a lot, he tries to have an active weekend every second week ^^
He also likes to spend time cooking in the kitchen, having a chat for dinner.

Leonardo works at a reinsurance company, loves the gym and film making. Has a busy schedule and enjoys his me-time.

The room has 4 walls (surprise), a door, a window where you can see the forest, and a sloped ceiling. It is approximately 15m2 and there is plenty more space in the flat. It will be unfurnished, so you need to bring your own furniture.
The living room has a big sofa and a beamer where we occasionally watch movies or play Mario Kart. The Kitchen is well equipped and cooking there with three people at the same time is possible :D

In the cellar there is also a bike rack and a storage room.

The deposit will be 3 months’ rent so roughly 2945 CHF. And the Internet is 174CHF until October next year (we will look for a cheaper option then).

The flat is located next to the forest (you can always sleep with your window open as it's very quiet!) and it's only a ~15 min walk to ETH Hönggerberg. A Coop, Migros, ALDI and LIDL are close by, just like the train station Affoltern (10 min walk) and Zehntenhausplatz (bus 61/62 to Oerlikon, bus 32 to the city center). Irchel is around 20min away by bike and Zentrum is reachable in 25min.

We are a social WG, partners and friends are warmly welcome. But we also know how to give each other their space - which we have plenty of! We're looking for an easy-going, tidy, and non-smoking flatmate around our age (end twenties). WG experience is not a necessity but a certain WG suitability (communication, cooperation, a willingness to compromise, cooking skills, and other great qualities that start with “C”) would be very useful.
