Hello everyone,

I am renting an unfurnished room (circa 20 m2) in my flat located near Manesseplatz (my current roommate is interested in selling his furniture if you are interested). It is a 120m2+ / 4.5 rooms apartment that is only for two people (that is you and me), so there is a lot of space and privacy. The flat is fully equipped with a renovated kitchen with all apparels (washing machine, tumbler, oven, dishwasher) so you can also wash your clothes in the flat when you need. There is a dinner room, a living room as well as a large private Dachterasse. Finally, I have a small bathroom in my room on the second floor and there is another large bathroom next to the room that would be almost only for you and guests. We have both a cellar and a basement for storage.

My name is Nicola, I am 35 and I work in sustainable finance for WWF. I'm originally from the French side of Switzerland but I have been living in Zurich for 13 years now (and 9 years in this flat). I speak French, English, Italian and German. I practice karate regularly and I am passionated by cooking, nature and windsurfing.

I am looking for someone responsible, independent, and respectful. Someone who values honesty and helps keep the flat clean and tidy. I enjoy the occasional chat, coffee, walk, or game, but I am often busy with sports and tend to enjoy my own space. The atmosphere in the flat is generally calm, a quiet place to relax and recharge, not one for frequent parties or big gatherings. If that sounds like your kind of place, don't hesitate to reach out. The flat is non-smoking.

The rent is all-inclusive in total 1'570 CHF including heating, water and other building services. It also includes electricity, TV tax, highest-speed internet and cleaning services every two weeks.

The flat is well serviced by two local train stations Bahnhnof Binz and Bahnhof Giesshuebel who are both 5 minutes walk from the flat and two train stops from Zürich HB. There is a coop at the corner of the road and large commercial centres at Sihlcity and Brunnenpark 10 minutes walk away. Nature is also around the corner with Uetliberg and the upstream Sihl areas, which are great for walks and runs.

If you are interested, don't hesitate to write and I am happy to sort out a visit and learn to get to know you better. I usually like to meet people a couple of times to see if we are a good match. To proceed your application I will also be needing proof of financial stability (copy of working contract, salary slips and proof of no debts). If you have someone to recommend you, it is a plus. There is a 3'000 CHF which will be hold in a UBS deposit account in your name and we will have a standard sub-renting contract from the Mieterverband NGO.
