Spacious and bright room to sublet close to ETH Zentrum and Universität Zürich, approximately 16sqm with door to the corridor and sliding doors to the living room that can be locked. The flat was recently renovated: the parquet floors were sanded and polished or completely remade, the bathroom has a new bathtub and new tiles, and the kitchen has a spacious new dishwasher, an induction stove and a nice new oven. On top of that, there are two balconies, one for the living room and a smaller one for the kitchen.

We’re Teymour and Samuele, two mechanical engineers who are not just about studying and working, but also having some fun in life. I recently finished my degree and I’m doing my civil service at Eawag in Dübendorf, whereas Samuele is completing his Master's thesis this semester.
We both really like spending time outdoors and going on adventurous holidays.
I am a big fan of many types of music, as you can maybe see there is a record player in the living room and some music equipment scattered here and there around the flat.
We just moved here just a few weeks ago, this is why in the pictures the rooms might look a bit empty. We’re still gathering some furniture, lamps, kitchenware, etc., but rest assured, there is more than enough already to ensure a good standard of life ;)

Both Samuele and I value cleanliness and order, mostly out of respect for each other and common spaces. Please only apply if you know that you can appreciate and contribute to these things.

I’m looking for someone to sublet my room while I am on a bikepacking trip in Patagonia from November 1st until December 22nd/23rd. Since I will spend a good part of the Christmas holidays with my family, I would also be ok with crashing on the couch occasionally until the end of December. It doesn’t matter if you’re a student or you’re working in Zürich, we don’t discriminate. If you like outdoor activities (such as climbing, hiking, camping), cycling, cinema and music, you’ll be a great fit for the flat.
Additionally, there are two cats who live with us, Zuko and Azula. I’d be happy if during my time away you could check whether they always have enough food and their water bowl is full. There is a kibble dispenser and they can go outside, so maintenance is minimal.
