A room in our beautiful 5.5-room apartment is available until the end of March.

The flat is wonderful: very spacious living room with the comfiest sofa you've ever lied on, large kitchen with all the equipment you can wish for and more, lovely & quiet terrace with a fire pit, one full bathroom plus an additional toilet, lots of storage space, beautiful windows going all the way to the ceiling, old parquet flooring everywhere, and a garage that we only use for our bikes but can easily fit a car if you have one. The pictures are a little dated: the decoration in the living room is now significantly prettier, there are a lot more plants, and we just put up some lovely Christmas lighting.

The room is cozy, on the outside is another building but there's greenery in between, and it's pretty quiet. It is not furnished.

We are currently two flatmates. I'm a French guy in my 30s, working from home as an independent consultant; I use one of the 4 bedrooms to sleep in and another one as my office. The other roommate is a French guy in his 20s working in robotics. We're kind & friendly people, both pretty nerdy. We come with some perks: he's a wizard when it comes to fixing mechanical devices of all kinds, and I'm a pretty great cook with a robust wine collection.

The CHF 1000,- monthly cost includes Nebenkosten (heating, water, maintenance) but not some additional monthly bills (electricity, Wi-Fi, and a bi-weekly cleaning service) of which you would pay a third; count approximately CHF 150,- per month.

About you: you are friendly, open-minded (this is important), you can speak either English or French, and you maintain common spaces reasonably clean and tidy. Bonus points if you are bringing cats (no dogs though). No smoking in the room, obviously.
