The room is about 12 m², furnished with bed, mattress and basic wardrobe, next to Langstrasse and Helvetiaplatz, a 10-minute walk from the main station. The flat has a sunny balcony, open kitchen, big living room and a private washing machine and dryer. The price includes all bills such as heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and a cleaner twice a month.

We are Lukas (Swiss, 40, working in education) and Antoine (Belgian, 30, working in science). We are often on the move but still enjoy conversations when we are home at the same time. You should be somewhere between your mid-twenties and mid-forties, lead an active life and have a steady income. While it is fine to have visitors, this is not a place to party.

The small print: Many cool places are nearby, but be aware that the area is Zurich’s main nightlife and red-light district. It can be noisy, but the windows are good and it always feels safe to us. You need to leave a deposit of CHF 1 000 and present proof of swiss private liability insurance (less than 100 CHF / Year) at key handover.
