Hello! Starting January 2025 I have an available room for 1 person at an apartment near Biozentrum and Unispital. The apartment is 64m2 and has 2 bedrooms (I stay in 1 of the bedrooms). The bedroom itself is partially furnished (1 bed mattress 160x200, and 1 study desk) and is 14 square meters (2.76 x 5.12 meters). Optionally the next renter could buy the wardrobe and bedframe from the current renter.

The bathroom has a bathtub and shower, with frosted glass window facing the street. The apartment has a furnished living room: a L-Sofa, couch table, and reclining chair with footrest are nested on a carpet facing the 55-inch OLED TV (with 260 channels) and fast Fiber internet. A living room shelf/bookshelf also adorns the living room. A larger dining table is present for more indulgent meals or while watching TV.

The apartment has a furnished kitchen: a fully automatic coffeemaker, microwave, stove, sous vide machine, blender, and conventional oven and fridge. A smaller dining table and chairs are present for quicker meals (breakfast, coffee, yogurt, etc). Cutlery and crockery, plates glasses for water, juice, beer, wine) are already available.

The balcony that faces the street is accessible from the living room. The balcony is also fully furnished, and has wooden flooring on top of the concrete. Lift is available. Cellar and laundry/drying room are in the basement.

The cost will be 850 per month. It includes rent, basic utilities like gas heating and hot water. Bills from IWB (electricity) and Serafe, are to be split evenly. A rent deposit of 2 months is required, with a minimum of 6 months rent. If you live in this place, you will automatically be covered by my household contents insurance (from Zürich insurance).

About me: I am 37, male and I work at the the medical faculty of the University as a researcher. I like to cook, and go out to dine/drink with friends from time to time, but most often I like to stay at home and chill and watch TV, make/drink cocktails, wine, beer etc. I also go hiking or visit nice lakes or interesting places occasionally.
