Temporary sublease from mid-January till end of March


We are looking for a friendly and reliable roommate for our international WG in Kreis 6 (between Schaffhauserplatz and Milchbuck) from January 13 till the end of March.


The WG

We are a 9-person WG that enjoys spending time together. Without me (the person leaving), we are 4 girls and 4 guys, between 23 and 29 years old. We are 3 (PhD and master’s) students and 5 young professionals from Belgium, Spain, Italy, the US and Switzerland. We enjoy doing things together, whether that’s cooking, going to the lake, binge-watching a TV show or hiking/biking in the mountains. Of course, we also respect each other’s alone time. We’re a diverse, open-minded, and friendly WG, where you will hopefully soon feel at home.


The room

Size: About 10m^2
Fully furnished: Queen size bed (1.40m wide), desk, chair, mirror and closet.
Price: CHF 1000 per month, including Internet, electricity, water, heat, and a cleaning team that comes once a week.
The room is on the second floor of a 4-story house.


The house

The house has 4 floors (including the basement) and 3.5 bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and even a pizza oven, among other things. We have two washing machines and a dryer in the basement. There is also a small garden with a covered hangout area and a grill. Once a week, a cleaning team comes to clean the common areas (kitchen, bathrooms, living room, garden, etc).


The area

The neighborhood is quiet with many families. There are quite a few restaurants and fun sports facilities close by, like ping-pong, soccer, basketball, ASVZ sports center, Irchelpark (with alpacas!) and Käferberg. You can easily get downtown with public transportation or by walking (10 mins to HB via tram and 30 mins by foot). Our location is very well connected: the Guggachstrasse tram station is a 2 minute walk away, and Milchbuck, Bucheggplatz, Laubiweg, and Schaffhauserplatz are all within an 8 minute walk. It’s a 2 minute walk to the nearest Coop and 8 minutes each to the nearest Migros and a Denner.
