Description

Because I am leaving Zurich at the end of April 2026, we are looking for a person to take over my room starting from/around 01.05.2026 (or upon agreement).
The WG includes 4 bedrooms, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, and 1 toilet. The other three roommates are all students in Zürich. A Liechtensteiner bachelor student at ETH (21,m), a Lebanese master student at ETH (25,m), and an Italian PhD student at UZH (27,m). The flat speaks mostly English and activities are organised from time to time. The landlord of the flat is responsible, usually reply our emails within 1 day, sometimes 3 days if the request is more complicated. Emergencies such as electricity or heat shortages were handled on the same day.


Location:

The location of the flat is 15 mins to the University Irchel and Zürich HB, 20 mins to ETH Hönggerberg and ETH HG. In 6 mins walk you can find 2 Coops, 1 Aldi, 2 Migros, 2 Asian shops, and Oerlikon Bahnhof.


Rent:

The exact rent will depend on the new contract with the landlord. The rent listed in the ad (800+100) is the one I will be paying in April 2026. The utilities include electricity and internet.


Rooms:

Your bedroom will be the largest in the flat (~19qm). The room has two windows on two sides, through which you can directly ventilate your room. It has a little balcony shared with another roommate.
The bed will stay in the room, and the rest can be negotiated.

In the kitchen, there is an electric hob from mid 2025, a half-automatic coffee machine, a dry-food shelf, a large cabinet, and a fridge.
In the bathroom, there is a bathtub, a toilet, and a small sink. The roommates use the bathroom at a regular time in the morning, so usually there is no conflict in using it.

Who are you:

Because of the rental agreement, the rent of the flat should not excess 30% of the combined income from the main tenant and the guarantor. Therefore, we are looking for someone with an income higher than 60k a year.
