The Room:

There is one large room available (

) from the
01.02.2026
. The apartment is located on the second floor and spans 120m2. We have a spacious, modern kitchen and a large, cozy living room. Additionally, a weekly cleaning service for the apartment is included in the rent. Importantly, to apply you need to be a student with an active or upcoming enrollment or in some kind of job training. As I am currently the main tenant I'm looking for someone to take over the main tenant role in the apartment.

Location:

The apartment is situated in Kleinbasel, just a few minutes away from Claraplatz. Everything you need is close by. There is a Lidl supermarket only a 3-minute walk away, while other supermarkets are within a 5-minute reach. Tram and bus stations are nearby, providing easy access to both train stations within approximately 10-15 minutes. Moreover, the Rhine River is just a short walk away!

WG-Life:

Currently, we are 4 people in the WG. Matilde (26) is from Italy and studying economics at the University of Basel, while also working part-time in Marketing for a small local company. Hilary (29) is currently working in the Biotech sector and wants to start a second master in autumn. Ruben (27) and Marc (36) are leaving the apartment after finishing their master and PhD studies respectively. English is the primary language spoken in the apartment. We often eat together during lunch or dinner, watch movies or go to the Rhine together. Of course, everyone is free to have their own space and privacy, and we respect that. The building accommodates two more 4-person student WGs.

We are looking for:

We are seeking a new flatmate between the ages of 25 and 35, preferably male to maintain a balanced dynamic. Importantly, since Marc leaves, we need a new main tenant; if you are up for this, please let us know in your message as it would be a big plus! It is necessary that you are a student or undergoing some form of training, as required by the landlord (the building is managed by an education-focused foundation). We hope to find someone easygoing, who can join occasionally for social activities while also respecting others' need for personal time. Prior experience living in a WG or living alone is a big plus. We like to maintain tidiness in shared spaces.
