Description

I am moving out from my spacious room at the top floor!

It is a WOKO; so you do have to be a student (PhD student also works). It is very well connected; 2 minutes walking from the Glaubtenstrasse stop (80, 32, 61, and 62 buses). Incredibly ideal for students at ETH Hönggerberg, the flat is literally 10 minutes by foot from there. Commute to Irchel not bad at all, it would be around 20-25 mins by public transport and reaching HB would take you around 30 minutes.
We are a friendly and considerate household where everyone respects each other’s space and routines. We enjoy doing things together from time to time—like watching a movie or cooking—but we also keep a relaxed atmosphere and understand that everyone has their own professional and social commitments. You would be sharing the flat with one guy and five girls. There are two bathrooms and two toilet rooms. Ideally you're a guy since we always wanted to keep the flat sex-balanced... and it's getting out of our hands but ladies feel free to apply.

A couple of requisites I will prioritise for the selection:
\- As I said already, you do have to be a student
\- Capable and willing to move in on November 15h 2025
\- You’re comfortable starting as a subtenant (I’m currently the main tenant) until January 31st, and then taking over the main tenancy from February onward. I still need to confirm the details with Woko, but the rent might be CHF 749 during the subtenancy period, and then CHF 649 once you become the main tenant as long as you are not a PhD student.
\- You’re ideally planning to stay long-term — at least 2 years. Of course, life can be unpredictable, but we’re looking for someone who sees this as their main home, so we can avoid frequent tenant changes and keep things easy for everyone.
