As I'm moving out of our lovely shared apartment, we're looking for someone to take over my room from
December 1st, 2026

Our apartment is located right on Marktplatz Oerlikon, one of the most convenient and charming spots in Zurich, with a beautiful view overlooking the square.


The Apartment

The apartment is 95 m² and was completely renovated right before I moved in. It's bright, modern, and beautifully finished, with everything you could possibly need.

Highlights include:


* A huge, bright, fully furnished living room with a beautiful bay window. All living room furniture is shared and available for everyone to use.
* A modern, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and access to a small balcony
* A bathroom with a bathtub, private washing machine and dryer
* Beautiful parquet flooring
* Several built-in wardrobes in the hallway, providing plenty of additional storage space
* Private basement storage unit offering additional storage space
* Dedicated bicycle storage room in the basement, where you can conveniently keep your bike


Your Room

You'll be moving into the
largest bedroom in the apartment (approx. 18.5 m²)
. It's bright, spacious, and has two windows.

We're therefore looking for someone who would be happy to take over the existing furniture:


* IKEA PAX wardrobe (236 cm high, with hanging rails and trouser rack): CHF 400
* Box spring bed with mattresses and topper (180 × 200 cm): CHF 350
* Curtain rods: CHF 44
* Ceiling lamp: CHF 20


Total furniture takeover: CHF 814.



Location

The apartment is located directly on Marktplatz Oerlikon, with a lovely view of the square.

Every Wednesday and Saturday, a beautiful local farmers' market takes place right outside our doorstep. It's perfect for picking up fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, and other treats.

Everything you need is literally just a few steps away:


* Several Coop and Migros supermarkets, as well as Aldi and Lidl
* Zurich Oerlikon train station, offering excellent connections throughout Zurich and beyond
* Sternen Oerlikon tram stop
* Plenty of cafés, restaurants, shops, and other amenities

The building also houses other apartments and a dental practice, with several additional medical practices located around the square.


Your Future Flatmates

You'll be sharing the apartment with Jonas (30) and Daniele (29). Both are working professionals and genuinely lovely, easygoing flatmates.
Jonas is originally from Germany, works in IT, and speaks German and English. He's a structured, practical person who prefers getting things done rather than talking about them endlessly – whether at work or in the kitchen. Outside of work, he enjoys running, going to the gym, playing tennis, spending time outdoors, and going on road trips. He appreciates a clean, relaxed home, good coffee, and easygoing evenings.
Daniele is originally from Italy and speaks Italian, French, German, and English. He's also a working professional and a very relaxed, friendly, and easygoing flatmate.

We have a really lovely, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere at home. We enjoy spending time together while also respecting everyone's privacy and personal space. With our different backgrounds, the apartment also has a nice international and multilingual atmosphere.

Another great bonus: We have a wonderful cleaner who comes twice a month, takes care of the shared spaces, and can even tidy your room if you'd like! This costs less than CHF 60 per person per month.
