I am looking for a new housie to share a lovely 72 m2 apartment with me (sublet). I'm 32, originally German and have lived in shared flats for most of my life - not to save money, but because I really enjoy the social side of it.


The room (around 14m2) is furnished with a bed and a closet and apartment has a very lovely living room and a rather small balcony (for the summer...). It's directly at the market square in Oerlikon, with everything you need super close by (supermarket, public transport, restaurants,...).

The room is available from the 4th of March until the 17th of May but I am happy to agree on other dates as well (my old housemate is moving out and my partner will move in in May). The rent includes everything (internet, SERAFE, heating, water,...)


I like when there's a chance for a chat after work, a shared meal now and then, or a board game/ puzzle night on a rainy evening. I also enjoy hosting friends for dinner or an occasional overnight stay, but I'm definitely not a night owl - I need my sleep by 11 ;). Keeping the apartment clean is important to me, but I'm easy-going about how we organize it - whatever works for us. Outside of work, you'll usually find me exploring the mountains (after 7 years in the Netherlands, I'm making up for lost time), hiking, or enjoying good food with friends.

I'm a non-smoker, have no pets, and will mostly be working on-site at ETH, so during the day you will not find me at home on weekdays. My partner currently lives in Germany and will be coming once a while to spend a couple of days with me/us.
