The room is about 13.5m² and furnished with a bed and a closet (if preferred). The whole apartment has a second, slightly larger bedroom, a living room, a kitchen with a small balcony, a bathroom and a separate toilet (see floorplan). The whole apartment is about 80m². I am looking for someone who is happy to share a lovely apartment for a couple of months with another guy.
The start of the rental agreement is flexible between mid September to beginning October. A personal viewing is possible after the 29th of August.

I’m moving to Zurich on 1 September 2025 for a new job at ETH and I’m looking for a housie until my partner joins me in February 2026 (she will come and visit once in a while).
I'm 31 and have lived in shared flats for most of my life - not to save money, but because I really enjoy the social aspects of it: I like it when there’s the chance for a chat after work, a shared meal now and then, or a board game on a rainy evening. I also enjoy hosting friends for dinner or an occasional overnight stay, but I’m definitely not a night owl - I usually am in bed by 11.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me doing sports (biking, running, swimming, volleyball, gym,…), exploring the mountains (after 7 years in the Netherlands, I need to make up for it) or enjoying good food with friends. Keeping the apartment clean is important to me, but I’m easy-going about how we organize it - whatever works for us.
I’m a non-smoker, originally German (but speak English and Dutch as well, and would like to learn Italian) and will mostly be working on-site.
