Hello! My name is Erik, and I am a professional dancer from the United States. I moved to Zurich last August and in and now I am looking for a roommate, as my current roommate is moving out to live with his soon-to-be life partner. I would love to have someone join me in this beautiful apartment: it is a great find in Kreis 7 near Kirche Fluntern, which is a very central yet peaceful area. The entire apartment is 90 square meters and the room is about 16 square meters. It is ideal for students being very close to UZH, Universitätspital (USZ), and ETH. For professionals, it is only a ten minute tram ride to Bellevue and it is very easy to get to other parts of the city.
The building was constructed about 60 years ago but has since been renovated to modern standards. Luckily, it still preserves a lot of charm with colorful tiled bathrooms, a long, two-doored balcony (you will get one of these doors in your bedroom), and a real working fireplace!
I am a clean and organized person, but I am just looking for someone who knows when to pick up after themselves in the common spaces. It is also important to me that you observe and respect the building rules and neighbors, all of whom are very considerate. I only want to return the same to them.
Washer and Dryer are in the basement and do have a Wäschplan if you want to schedule your washings, though if no one is signed up for a time slot, it is free to use. I've never needed to sign up. 7 am - 9 pm, excluding Sundays and federal holidays. I know: classic Zürich.
Elevator, parking on request (I believe 200 CHF. Apartment does NOT come with a parking spot), common yard, storage closet in basement, dishwasher, and all my appliances are yours to use.
Rent is split halfway, slightly disadvantaging me. Electricity and high speed Swisscom internet are included in the rent.
