Hello future Roomie!
We are Lars (31) and Giulio (28), and we are looking for a new roommate to join us in our spacious and bright flat in the center of Zurich.

About the flat

The apartment is centrally located, right between Helvetiaplatz (5-minute walk) and Lochergut (5-minute walk). Tram 8 and Bus 31 are just 50 meters away and take you to the lake in 10 minutes and to Zurich main station in around 10 minutes as well. Migros and Lidl are a 5-minute walk away, and there’s also a 24-hour shop only 50 meters from the flat.

The apartment is on the 4th floor (with elevator) and offers a large living room with a long window front, a spacious modern kitchen, a big TV, and a washing machine and tumbler in the flat.

Your room is approximately 13.5 m² and comes with a shared bathroom, which you would share with Lars. The washing machine and tumbler are located in the second bathroom and are of course available to everyone. We also have a lovely cleaning lady (Francisca) who cleans the common areas once a week.

Financials

The room costs CHF 1’225 per month, which includes:
• Weekly cleaning of common areas (CHF 170 per month per person)
• Internet and TV
• Shared Netflix account

All additional costs (e.g. electricity, heating, Serafe) are split equally.

Who we are

Lars is a startup consultant who balances working late with going to the gym and making music. Singing and playing guitar (pop and rock) is a regular part of life in our flat.

Giulio (28) is a board game enthusiast and works as a statistician in French, Italian, English, and German. He also has a sweet tooth—which benefits everyone when he bakes.

We like our place clean and tidy, but we’re not obsessive about it. This is our home, not a showroom. We care about keeping the common spaces clean and comfortable so everyone enjoys using them, while also being relaxed and considerate of each other.

You ideally:
• Are roughly between 25 and 35 years old
• Are working full-time (no students, sorry)
• Are looking not only for a place to live, but for a shared home where we occasionally cook, have dinner, or enjoy a beer together

The room is currently occupied by our lovely roommate Anna, who is moving in with her boyfriend. She will be selling the bed and potentially the wardrobe but otherwise the room will be unfurnished.
